In Clint's own words...
I was born and raised just south of Indianapolis, IN. I left home at 18 to head to Lynchburg, VA for college. It was here that I had my first experience with tobacco. I grew up with asthma and in a health conscious family, so I always stayed away from it. It wasn't until I had my first cigar that I realized they were about camaraderie, not nicotine cravings. I was bitten by the love for the brotherhood and community. I moved back home after college and got married. My wife and I lived there for about a year before moving to Northern Virginia. This is where I met Jerry Ernst. He's been my right hand man throughout all of this. My wife and I got sick of fighting the rat race and climbing the corporate ladder, so we moved to Lynchburg to regroup and recharge. I met Mike Justice shortly after we moved back to Lynchburg. As I was deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up, I kept thinking that it would be great to get into the cigar industry. I thought about opening a shop, becoming a rep, or even becoming a manufacturer. I decided to look into the process of manufacturing cigars. I called Jerry one day and told him of my plans. He said, "I'm in. What do you need?" I contacted Mike a few days later and asked if he would be interested in doing the design work for the cigars and website. He jumped on board, and here we are today.
